This includes developing and enforcing policies to promote a safe work environment, conducting risk assessments, training staff, and ensuring adherence to legal and organizational HSE standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and standards at site level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Prepare and update Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Risk Assessments for MEP activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Ensure that electrical work activities are carried out safely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Monitor and ensure correct use of PPE by site workers and subcontractors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; report findings and suggest corrective actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff and labor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Coordinate emergency response drills and first aid arrangements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Maintain all HSE documentation including daily safety reports, inspection logs, and permits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Liaise with government authorities for HSE compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Assist in preparing and submitting HSE reports to clients, consultants, and internal management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health &amp; Safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in MEP or construction industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations and construction safety standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Familiarity with MEP systems and their associated safety requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced construction environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">HSE-related certifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">First Aid and Fire Fighting certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:1.5\">Experience working on high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or industrial MEP projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Department : Health, Safety &amp; EnvironmentIndustry : MEP Contracting (Construction)Reports To : HSE Manager\/Project Manager Job Summary : The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across all MEP project sites.
